Calling all cooks! The Read for the Cure Foundation has just published a fund-raising cookbook which features delicious appetizer & dessert recipes from our book club community!

We all know how important the food (and wine!) can be to a book club meeting, so we thought we'd compile some of the best into a cookbook and donate all of the proceeds to our charity, The Cancer Research Society - www.src-crs.ca/en-CA .

Where can you get a copy?

The cookbooks will be for sale at our events in Calgary, Ottawa and Toronto this fall. Or, you can order them from emilybabiak@gmail.com . Cookbooks are $20 each, plus shipping of $3 for one or two books. For orders of 3 or more books, we will ship at our cost (to be quoted).

We thank all the book club members who submitted their favourite appetizers or dessert recipes. In addition to the recipes, this project has been a great opportunity to learn a little more about Canada's book club community. We've been touched and amused by the stories and photos we received. We know you'll enjoy these anecdotes and photos as much as we have.
